About Me

Hi, I'm Christian Stenger, and I have over 10 years of experience improving how people use digital products and services. My passion lies in solving complex problems through user-centered research and designing intuitive and useful digital experiences.
My Journey
I began my career in web development, where I built a solid technical foundation that has been crucial for my later work. Over time, I developed into UX consulting and digital research, eventually founding my consultancy focused on large-scale projects for government and financial institutions in Latin America.
I'm a Michigan-based professional deeply committed to human-centered design and driving digital transformation, fluent in English and Spanish.
My Approach
I believe strongly in creating accessible and inclusive designs. My method includes thorough user research, data analysis, and empathetic, practical solutions designed to create tangible results.
Skills and Tools
My hybrid background in development and design allows me to navigate between technical and creative aspects. I work with various UX research methodologies, prototyping, user testing, and metrics analysis. I stay constantly updated on the latest trends in interface design, accessibility, and emerging technologies such as AI applied to UX.
Beyond UX
I am passionate about exploring new technologies and always learning, both in my professional life and personal projects. In my homelab, I experiment with Docker on an Orange Pi 5 to test AI, DNS, local video streaming, and information management repositories. These side projects help me stay current and are sometimes challenging but rewarding.
Music is a significant part of my life, and I enjoy listening to Chilean indie rock, Californian alternative rock, and jazz. I also play guitar and bass, a hobby rooted in my musical education from high school in Chile. When the weather is nice in Michigan, I play tennis with my wife or go hiking in the nearby natural parks. I want this website to showcase not only my UX work but also insights from my explorations and side projects.
